Makaala Privacy Policy

Who we are

Makaala: Mancala & Kalah is a board game published by Myra Solutions LLC (myrasolutionsllc.com). This policy covers the Android, iOS and web versions.

What we collect

• Anonymous player id. Unity Authentication creates a random id without any sign-up. It is used to run online matches, save progress to the cloud and keep leaderboards.
• Display name. The name you choose is shown to opponents online and on leaderboards.
• Gameplay and diagnostics. Game events such as game start, moves and results, plus crash reports with device model and OS version. Gameplay analytics are collected only while the Analytics switch in Settings is on.
• Advertising. The Android and iOS apps show ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may use your device advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, and ad interaction and diagnostic data to serve and measure ads. On iOS the advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. No ads are shown in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland: there the ad SDK is never started and collects nothing. • Web version. Played on our own site, the game shows no ads. When played on a game portal such as CrazyGames or GameDistribution, that portal serves the ads under its own privacy policy.
• Purchases. The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details; we only record that the purchase exists so ads stay off.

We do not access contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise location, and we do not sell personal information.

Why

To run online games (Unity Relay and Lobby), sync progress (Unity Cloud Save), keep leaderboards, fix crashes, understand which modes are played, and fund the free game with ads.

Service providers

Unity Technologies for game services, analytics and crash reporting (unity.com/legal/privacy-policy). Google LLC for advertising (policies.google.com/privacy). Apple and Google for app distribution.

Retention

Analytics are kept for 13 months, crash logs for 90 days, and cloud saves until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices and data deletion

• Turn gameplay analytics off at any time with the Analytics switch in Settings.
• Limit ad personalisation in your device settings. On iOS, answer the tracking prompt or change it later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, use Settings > Google > Ads.
• To delete your cloud save, leaderboard entries and analytics, email praneetharnepalli@gmail.com with the display name you use and roughly when you last played. We delete matching data within 30 days.
• Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device.

You can also email us to exercise rights under GDPR, CCPA or India's DPDP Act.

Children

Makaala is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

Data travels over TLS and is stored in Unity and Google data centres.

Changes

We update the effective date above whenever this policy changes.
